(OOLITIC) – Mark your calendars… the Oolitic Fire Department is organizing the Oolitic Limestone Festival to be held on Saturday, September 14th, 2019.
This is a list of some of the events planned for the day:
- To kick off the festival, donuts from Square Donuts will be delivered to those in the who pre-order donuts. There will be a form to be filled out soon.
- 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament at 9 a.m.
- Food and Other Vendors from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
- Parade Lineup begins at 11 a.m.
- The parade begins at 1 p.m.
- Carousel Winery will be present for wine tasting in the afternoon.
- Hog Roast hosted by the Masonic Lodge beginning at 4 p.m.
- Petty Thieves will perform from 4:30 p.m. until 7 p.m.
- Community-wide yard sales
- Cornhole Tournament – All day.
The 3 on 3 basketball tourney cost is $60 per team registration. Forms are available on the Oolitic Limestone Festival Facebook page.
