  • 6:34 p.m. 911 call in the 15 block of Maple Ridge Road. Lawrence County Police was alerted

  • 8:51 a.m. IU Health Hospital reports a battery in the 2050 block of East Green Street. They were treating a female with stab wound to the head. She claims it happened in the county.
  • 8:53 a.m. Report of a perosn in a white SUV hit a dog and left the scene in the 11760 block of State Road 58 East
  • 9:20 a.m. Medical emergency in the 2630 block of Old Farm Road
  • 9:48 a.m. Fire alarm sounding in the 200 block of Candlelight Lane. It was a false alarm

Accidents – July 4

  • 7:19 p.m. Property damage accident with a vehicle leaving the scene in the 1050 block of State Road 37 near the Holiday Drive-In A small red pickup hit a black Chevy 1500 and continued northbound on State Rad 37 and is pulling a boat behind the red truck. Police say this is a civil dispute was over the ownership of the boat. The boat was impounded and will be released to whom ever can provide documentaion of ownership
  • 9:34 p.m. Car/deer accident on Tunnelton Road, south of Vinegar Hill Road
