Fever Lose Fifth Game of Season

(SEATTLE, WA) – The Indiana Fever came up short against the Seattle Storm, falling 65-61 for their fifth loss in seven games.

The Fever bookended the game with 12 points in both the first and fourth quarter, which made the difference in the game.

Jewell Loyd led Seattle with a game-high 21 points while teammate Natasha Howard added 17.

The Storm forced the Fever into 19 turnovers and held them to 34 percent shooting from the field.

Erica Wheeler led Indiana with 18 points but also turned the ball over eight times. Kelsey Mitchell added 13 points while Teaira McCowan had a game-high 13 rebounds.

The Fever return home to host the Minnesota Lynx on Tuesday night.
