(ELKHART LAKE, WI) – 28 seconds. That’s how much of a lead Alexander Rossi had over the field as he took the REV Group Grand Prix at Road America with ease.
Rossi led all but one lap in the race and topping second-place finisher Will Power by 28.4391 seconds.
It was Rossi’s second NTT IndyCar Series win of the season and the seventh of his career. It also put him within seven points of the championship lead.
“It was probably one of the best race cars I’ve ever had,” the 27-year old said after the victory.
After Rossi and Power was Josef Newgarden, Graham Rahal and Scott Dixon.
The NTT Series takes a bit of a breather as the next race isn’t until July 14, 2019 at the Honda Indy Toronto.
