(MORGAN CO.) – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will host a public information meeting regarding an upcoming pavement replacement project on State Road 42 in Mooresville from the White Lick Creek Bridge over the West Fork to just west of the intersection with State Road 67.
The purpose of this project is to rehabilitate the pavement, curbs and sidewalks ramps along State Road 42 (High Street). The project will begin at the bridge crossing over White Lick Creek (West Fork) and end at the State Road 42 intersection with State Road 67.
In addition to the pavement work, the project will replace the existing concrete curbs and add ADA compliant curb ramps to the sidewalks. INDOT is working with the town of Mooresville to consider adding a shared-use path along one side of State Road 42.
The meeting is an opportunity for INDOT to meet with members of the community regarding the upcoming construction related activities.
The open house is scheduled for Wednesday, June 12, at 6 p.m. at the Mooresville Town Government Center Auditorium located at Four East Harrison St. in town.
