(BLOOMINGTON) – Milestone Contractors will close both lanes of westbound State Road 45/46 near I-69 in Bloomington on or after Tuesday, June 4, weather permitting, to begin the next phase of a $5 million pavement replacement project.

Exit ramps to and from I-69 on the north side of State Road 45/46, in addition to the westbound State Road 46 ramp to southbound I-69 will be closed to traffic during this phase. Detour routes for State Road 45/46 to I-69 are as follows:

  • To I-69 southbound: State Road 46 westbound to Curry Pike intersection to State Road 46 eastbound (U-turn) to I-69 southbound.

Detour signage will be placed along the routes.
