Myrna “Kay” Gould, 77, of Judah, died at 3:15 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2019, at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital.
Born October 24, 1941, in Guthrie, she was the daughter of Earl R. and Flossie (Wint) Southern. She married Dale R. Gould on
September 26, 1959, and he preceded her in death on March 30, 2013. She had worked at South Haven Coil and Extruded Alloys and then retired from PRD. Kay was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include one son, Loren Gould and wife Janine of Bedford; one daughter, Teresa Spires and husband Jerry of Bedford; five grandchildren, Justin Spires, Jesse Spires, and wife Jeri, Jacey Chastain and husband Corey, Kali Gould, and Matt Reynolds and wife Cassey; six great-grandchildren, Kayne and Hayden Spires, Cutler and Hunter Chastain, Layne and Loren Reynolds; two brothers, Larry Southern and wife Barbara of Williams, and David Southern and wife Carol of Bedford; one sister, Diana Walton-Lintz and husband Bob of Orleans.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one grandson, Loren Gould.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 3 rd at Green Hill Cemetery with Harold Godsey officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. am until 1 p.m. at Day & Carter Mortuary on Monday, June 3.
