Brain Games XVIII Begin Tonight

(BEDFORD) – Brain Games XVIII will begin tonight at the StoneGate Arts & Education Center in downtown Bedford.

Admission to the games is free, but donations will be accepted. The Brain Games is a fundraiser for the Lawrence County Museum of History.
During Brain Games, 160 players from 32 local teams will test their general trivia knowledge in hopes of winning the title.
Games will begin at 6:35 p.m. with the opening round’s eight games and continuing Thursday with the next eight games. Winners from these two nights will advance to play May 21, and the finals will be May 23.
The schedule is as follows:

  • Game 1, 6:35 p.m.: Jason Jackson-Edward Jones vs. Copy Trolley “Generation Gap”
  • Game 2, 6:55 p.m.: Orleans Chamber of Commerce (2018 Teen Brain Games champions) vs. Hoosier Hills Credit Union
  • Game 3, 7:15 p.m.: Flinn Farms vs. Bedford Evening Lions Club
  • Game 4, 7:35 p.m.: Bedford Furniture Galleries vs. Rowena Cross-Najafi for Mayor
  • Game 5, 8:05 p.m.: Bedford Laser Wash vs. Bedford Hiking Club
  • Game 6, 8:25 p.m.: Cosner’s Gun and Knife Shop vs. Turner Contracting Inc.
  • Game 7, 8:45 p.m.: Stone Cottage vs. Mainstay Suites and Sleep Inn at Crane “Show Up”
  • Game 8, 9:05 p.m.: Inklings Bookstore vs. JKI Engineering


  • Game 9, 6:35 p.m.: Pynco 1 vs. Judy Macy State Farm Insurance
  • Game 10, 6:55 p.m.: Court Room Sports Grill vs. Bill Maegerlein-Edward Jones
