Two Arrested After Domestic Fight At Walmart

(BEDFORD) – Two people were arrested after a domestic fight at Walmart on Wednesday night.


Bedford Police officers were called to the store at 8:50 p.m.
“While en route officers were told they left the parking lot and were headed towards State Road 37 in a white car,” says Chief Terry Moore.
Officers located and stopped the car at State Road 37 and Patrick Robbins Way.
“While speaking to the driver, the officer found he was driving on a suspended license and the car had been reported stolen from Marion County,” Chief Moore added. “The license plate was also stolen from another vehicle out of Marion County.”

Police arrested 38-year-old Shawn Stiles of Bedford on charges of auto theft, criminal conversion and driving while his driver’s license was suspended with a prior conviction.

Officers also arrested his passenger 33-year-old Heather Atwood of Seymour who was wanted on two warrants out of Monroe County. While being arrested officers found her with a crystal substance that tested positive for meth and criminal trespass.
