Billy Lee Lagle – Bedford
October 25, 1934 – April 14, 2019
Billy Lee Lagle, 84, of Bedford, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at his residence.
Born October 25, 1934, in Bedford, he was the son of Sherman W. and Elzada (Connor) Lagle. Billy loved to play slots and play bingo.
Surviving include his daughter, Deborah Lee (Darrell) Lagle Edwards; two grandchildren, Darrell Ray Edwards and Amber Rose Edwards; his dearly beloved sister, Shirley Ann Lagle; brother, Dean Lagle; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his two late brothers, Alfred and Gary Lagle; and half-sister, Mary Lackey.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 22, 2019, at Green Hill Cemetery.

Charles Lee Pemberton – Mitchell

Charles Lee Pemberton, 80, of Mitchell, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
Born September 19, 1938, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Jesse Elbert and Lillian Fay (Roberts) Pemberton. He married Loretta Jean Holsapple September 19, 1959, and she preceded him in death on April 30, 2007. Charles retired from Regal-Beloit and loved fishing, hunting, and being outdoors. He was a U. S. Navy veteran.
Surviving: children, Richard Lee (Shawna) Pemberton of Mitchell, Richelle (Greg) Onley of Mitchell, Richa (Scott Simkins) Pemberton of Mitchell; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; siblings, Alan Pemberton of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, James Pemberton of Mitchell, Beverly Dalton of Bedford, Ellen Jean Hoover of Kentucky, Eulah Wheeler of Crawfordsville
His parents; wife; and sister, Carol Watson and preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 20, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Reverend Steve Jones officiating. Burial will be in Lawrenceport Cemetery with military honors accorded by American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
