Bloomington Symphony Orchestra Launches Chamber Concert Series At FAR

(BLOOMINGTON) – The Bloomington Symphony Orchestra will launch its new chamber concert series at the FAR Center for Contemporary Arts on Wednesday, April 17, at 6:30 p.m.


The concert will feature BSO members performing a variety of chamber works, including pieces by Beethoven, Dvorak, Verdi, Glazunov, Offenbach, and more.
Among the chamber ensembles on the program are a brass quintet, a clarinet and bassoon duo, a violin duo, and a cello and piano duo.
The concert is free of charge, and no
tickets are required.
The chamber concert series will continue at the FAR Center during the BSO’s 2019-20 season, with one concert in fall 2019 and another in spring 2020.
