Deadline Announced To Have Bertha’s Mission Easter Dinner Delivered

(BEDFORD) – The deadline to have an Easter Dinner delivered from the Second Annual Community Easter Celebration sponsored by Bertha’s Mission is today.

Please call 317-470-0085 by 4 p.m.
The meal will be delivered free to the elderly, disadvantaged or disabled.
The Easter Dinner will Saturday, April 13th, at the First Baptist Church located at 1515 20th Street in Bedford.
Last year, more than 200 meals were served and 150 meals delivered to those disabled and elderly.
And this year, Janice Nickeo wants to make sure that everyone feels welcomed in attending the event.
“This is a community event, non-denominational and we would like to invite more churches to be involved in the event; to come and help prepare and serve meals,” she added.
Along with the free meal, there will be plenty of activities, especially for children. There will be things going on in activity rooms, singing, bouncy houses, photo booth, and of course, the Easter Bunny will be there.
If you know your neighbor is disabled or elderly let them know about this event and volunteers will be more than willing to deliver a meal to their home.
Please have their names and addresses turned in before April 9th by calling 317-480-0085.
Volunteers and donations are welcome. Call for more information.
Transportation to the event can also be provided, for those needing a ride.
