Girl Scouts of Central Indiana Partners with Veteran Strategies for “Leaders and Legends” podcast

(INDIANAPOLIS) – Girl Scouts of Central Indiana is partnering with local public relations firm Veteran Strategies to interview Hoosier community leaders for their “Leaders and Legends” podcast.

Veteran Strategies President Robert Vane inaugurated the podcast on February 4, 2019, by featuring former Mayor of Indianapolis Greg Ballard. Since then “Leaders and Legends” guests include Jim Shella, Bill Benner, John Mutz, Louis Mahern, Amanda Kingsbury, and Stevi Stoesz.
Additionally, local leaders and legends such as Shelly Fitzgerald, Sherry Seiwert, Allison Melangton, Jim Morris, Maggie Lewis, and Mickey Maurer and have either recorded podcasts or agreed to appear.
Girl Scouts of Central Indiana approached Vane about co-hosting the podcast and securing a strong representation of female difference makers.
Danielle Shockey, Girl Scouts of Central Indiana’s CEO, said, “I have enjoyed learning about our community’s vibrant past, present and future while listening to Robert’s podcast. Central Indiana has so many talented women leaders and legends. I’m excited to hear their stories and share them with our listeners beginning April 8, when our first sponsored podcast will be released. Girl Scouts builds leaders one girl at a time, and I suspect many of the women we’ll interview on the podcast are Girl Scout alum.”
Vane said, “Girl Scouts of Central Indiana brings a tremendous amount of credibility to ‘Leaders and Legends.'” We’ve been blessed to have a terrific line-up of guests so far, and Danielle’s participation as co-host opens up new doors for us.”
