(WASHINGTON) – Clean Sweep for the City of Washington is April 13.
The event is sponsored by German American Bank in Washington.
Twelve teams representing various non-profit groups or organizations are participating. The teams will pick up trash around the city. Teams will receive cash up to $250 for each bag of trash gathered.
Spokesman Jon Pierce says team spots have filled up quickly, but if you would like to be added to the list call 812-254-4630.
