(BLOOMINGTON) – A 20-year-old Bloomington man was arrested on Thursday on a charge of child exploitation after police found him in possession of a flash drive containing child pornography.
Police arrested Johnny Hunt, on a charge of child exploitation.
Bloomington Police detectives received a tip on March 6 of several child pornographic images on a third-party website. A court order was issued to identify the suspect and traced the information to an address at 306 West Second Street.
Detectives obtained a search warrant on March 8 for Hunt’s home and found a flash drive with multiple images of child pornography involving a child younger than the age of 12.
Hunt cooperated during the search and allowed detectives to look at this cell phone. On the phone police located more images.
Police say they don’t believe Hunt took the images but was only in possession of them.
