(BEDFORD) – A Bedford woman was arrested after she caused a disturbance at an apartment in the 1710 block of L Street early Saturday morning.
Bedford Police arrested 43-year-old Kristy Fountain, of 1412 1/2 19th St., on charges of battery resulting in bodily injury.
Officers responded to the apartment on L Street at 12:08 a.m. after a report of a woman refusing to leave.
“Officers arrived and spoke with the victim who said that they had asked Ms. Fountain to leave the apartment,” says Bedford Police Chief Terry Moore. “Ms. Fountain and the victim got into an argument, and the victim was struck in the face by Ms. Fountain.”
Officers arrested Fountain without incident after finding her outside the apartment.
