
(BEDFORD) – A 19-year-old and five teens were arrested Saturday afternoon after police were alerted the juveniles had stolen medication out a mailbox.
Bedford Police officers were alerted at 4:27 p.m. by the victim that he believed two female juveniles had stolen his medication out of his mailbox in the 1700 block of I Street.
“Victim said the female juveniles stood across the road taunting him with a prescription box he believed was his before walking away from his residence. The victim knew one of the juveniles and gave officers an address for her,” Chief Terry Moore says.

Officers located 19-year-old Wesley Hearth and several juveniles sitting in a vehicle in the 2300 block of I street.
“After speaking with Hearth and having probable cause, officers searched the vehicle and found marijuana and paraphernalia,” Chief Moore added.
Police arrested:
Hearth was taken to jail, and the juveniles were released to their guardians or parents.
