Bedford Planning Commission Approves Subdivision of Lot

(BEDFORD) – The Bedford Plan Commission Tuesday approved the subdivision of a lot requested by Adam Chastain in the 3500 block of 35th Street in Bedford.

Six other residents were notified of the request in the neighborhood. No one spoke for or against the proposal during the Commission meeting.
According to officials, the homeowner has approximately two acres in town on 35th street and the homeowner wants to keep one acre between the home he is selling and his parent’s home.
In order to subdivide a city lot, the legal term is to create a subdivision of the lot. However, the landowner does not have plans at this time of developing a subdivision.
Therefore, the Plan Commission has approved the request, now sending the proposal on to the Board of Public Works.
