Allice Lloyd Wildman – Shoals
March 8, 1920 – March 11, 2019
Allice Lloyd Wildman, 99, of Shoals, passed away Monday, March 11, 2019, at the Loogootee Nursing Center.
She was born March 8, 1920, in Martin County to Frank and Kathryn (Fawcett) Sherfick. She married Wilmer Wildman on July 11, 1936, and he preceded her in death on June 12, 1986.
She attended Trinity Springs Church of Christ, retired from Sarkas Tarzan in Bloomington and Wavetech in Beech Grove. She loved sitting on the front porch enjoying nature, gardening, the outdoors, was an avid mushroom hunter and was a State Champion Quilter, competing in the State Fair.
Survivors include Warren L. Wildman of Trinity Springs, Wilma K. Tirmenstein (Don Hauser) of Indianapolis, Leslie E. “Les” Wildman of Trinity Springs; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her brothers, Kenneth Sherfick, Herbert Sherfick; sisters, Mary Johnson and
Dorothy Bough.
Services are 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Queen-Lee Chapel in Shoals with Warren Lee Wildman Jr. officiating.
Burial will be in the Trinity Springs Cemetery. Visitation is 11:30 a.m. Friday until the time of service.
Memorial donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the Trinity Springs Church of Christ.
The Queen-Lee Chapel of the Thorne-George Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mary E. Phillips – Loogootee
January 6, 1950 – March 11, 2019
Mary E. Phillips, 69, of Loogootee, passed away at her residence Monday, March 11, 2019.
She was born January 6, 1950, to Lloyd and Henrietta (Greer) Evan in Plymouth, Indiana. She married Joseph A. Phillips on September 9, 1969, in Loogootee.
She was employed by Federal Mogol in Leiters Ford, Indiana.
Survivors include her husband; children, Lila J. (Jerry Jr.) Allen of Loogootee, Lloyd E. Phillips (Wilma Neace) of Rochester, Indiana; Linda R. (Larry) Allen of Vincennes, Annetta M. (Jerry Jr. “Hairball”) Walters of Winamac, Indiana; five brothers, Lloyd “Pike” (Peggy) Evans, Roger (Coleen) Evans, Orville Evans, Robert (Sheila) Evans, Charles (Sue) Green, Patrick (Naomi) Evans, two sisters, Rebecca Gardener and Becky “Candy” Beatty Brodner.
She is preceded in death by, her parents; sisters, Bonnie Lou Deaton, Gloria Jean Cox and a great
granddaughter.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Mt Zion Church with Bro. John Simmons officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
The Queen-Lee Chapel of the Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes is entrusted with the arrangements.
Kenneth Wayne Staggs, Sr. – Indianapolis

Kenneth Wayne Staggs, Sr., 80, of Indianapolis, died Monday, March 11, 2019, at his residence.
Born September 21, 1938, in Lawrence Co., he was the son of Perry E. and Georgia M. (Bolding) Staggs. He married Shirley Jean Stigall on June 9, 1957, and she survives. He had worked as an automobile salesman for Sharp Ford. He was a member of the Southwood Assembly in Indianapolis and was active in Unchained Ministries.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley, of Indianapolis; three children, Vicky Stanifer and husband, Paul, of Kokomo, Debbie Lynn Ritter and husband, Brian, of Perrysburg, OH, and Kenneth W. Staggs, Jr. and wife, Christine, of Tampa,FL; nine grandchildren, John and Laura Stanifer, Rachel, Kaleb, Kelsey and Luke Ritter, Chyna Dawn, Andrew and Joshua Staggs; one great-grandchild, Erynn Noel Ritter; two sisters, Martha Hawkins of Paoli and Oneida Helm of Gosport; two brothers, Bill Staggs of Florida and Perry Lee Staggs of Mooresville.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 16th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastors Keith Williams, George Whirley & Bruce Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Patton Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of service on Saturday, March 16th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

Danny Lee Brosamle – Bedford

Danny Lee Brosamle, 45, of Bedford, died at 3:33 am on Monday, March 11, 2019, at his residence.
Born November 5, 1973, in Sullivan County, he was the son of Danny Brosamle and Cathy (Long) Terry. He married
Stacey D. Kinser on April 26, 1997, and she survives. He was a merchandiser for Keurig, Dr. Pepper, and Snapple.
Survivors include his wife, Stacey, of Bedford; three children, Taylor Brosamle, Jasmine Schulz and husband,
Chadrick, and Zachary Brosamle, all of Bedford; three brothers, Charles Long, Anthony Brosamle, and Dustin
Bowersock; a sister, Christine Terry; several brothers and sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews. He was
preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Deanna Tuell; a brother, Shawn Brosamle and his mother-in-law, Brenda
Kinser.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 14th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Gilgal Cemetery in Heltonville. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

Edith L. Tincher – Bedford

Edith L. Tincher, 90, of Bedford, died Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Mitchell Manor.
Born March 26, 1928 in Peerless, IN, she was the daughter of Thomas and Stella (Cooper) Beasley. She married Charles J. Tincher on March 22, 1969 and he preceded her in death on January 24, 2018. She had worked at Westinghouse for eighteen years and as a beautician in Pearl Hunter’s Beauty Shop. She was a member of the Bedford Baptist Temple, AARP, Hairdressers Association of Bedford and I.B.E.W. Local 2031.
Survivors include one son Robin (Kay) Miller, of Bedford; a brother, Gene Beasley, of Connersville, IN; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son Michael Tincher, four brothers, Morris, Raymond, Opal, and Clyde Beasley; eight sisters, Lois Lane, Ruby Roberts, Dorothy Beasley, Frances Meadows, Edna Jackson, Nellie Jones, Ada Watson, and Bessie Swift.
Private graveside services are planned. Burial will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.

Marsha Ann Guthrie

Marsha Ann Guthrie, 79, passed away Friday, March 8, 2019, at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital in Bedford.
Born October 24, 1939, in Mitchell, she was the daughter of Don C. and Rosa Deloris (Sego) Trueblood Lincoln. She married Joe Ike Guthrie December 16, 1960, and he preceded her in death on April 16, 1990.
Marsha had been employed at Dunn Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Mitchell Presbyterian Church and graduated from Mitchell High School in 1958. Marsha was a member of the Martin County Happy Homemakers and enjoyed arts, crafts, crocheting, and ceramics. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Kimberly Ann (Milton) Roberts of Mitchell, Blaine (Sandy) Guthrie of Huron; companion, Jim Hail of Paragon; grandchildren, C. Adam Roberts, Daniel Roberts, Ashley Guthrie, Tyler Guthrie, great-grandchildren, Trevon, Caymon, and Mayson Roberts, Athena and Cora Bunch, brothers; Larry Lincoln of Lansing, Michigan, Don Trueblood of Louisiana
Her parents; stepfather, Don Lincoln; husband; son, Charles Bryan Guthrie; and siblings, Leanne Horsley, Larry Trueblood, and Charles David Trueblood, preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. Thursday at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Burial will be at a later date in Lawrenceport Cemetery.
