(BLOOMINGTON) – The results are in and Bloomington placed 19th on the Livability’s list of 100 Best Places to Live this year.
Livability touted Bloomington’s downtown square, craft beer scene, and Indiana University’s beautiful campus.
The website listed Bloomington’s “local obsessions” as the IU Hoosiers and pizza, in that order.
Indianapolis and Fort Wayne also made the cut.
Indianapolis came in at No. 75 and Fort Wayne landed in the No. 93 spot.
To create the list, Livability editors and data scientists look at hundreds of data points and examine more than 1,000 cities based on economics, housing, amenities, infrastructure, demographics, social and civic capital, education and health care.
