Injury Plagued Pacers Fall In Dallas

(DALLAS, TX) – The Pacers closed their three-game road trip out with back-to-back losses as they fell to the Dallas Mavericks 110-101.

Rookie phenom Luka Doncic led Dallas with a game-highs in points (26), rebounds (10) and assists (7) while teammate Jalen Brunson added 24 points and Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 20. The Mavericks shot over 49-percent from the field and over 43-percent from 3-point range as they knocked down 16 shots from beyond the arc.
Bojan Bogdanovic led the Pacers with 22 points while Wesley Matthews added 20.
Indiana was without Domantas Sabonis and Tyreke Evans but Nate McMillan said the loss isn’t because those two sat out.
“The guys that are in uniform have got to play,” he said. “We’ve been dealing with this all season long. Injuries— that’s not an excuse.”
It’s a quick turnaround for the Pacers as they get on a plane and head back to Indianapolis to open a three-game home stand tonight when the Minnesota Timberwolves come to town. Tip-off is at 7pm EST.
