Bucks Top Pacers Heading Into All-Star Break

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) – In their final game before the All-Star break, the Indiana Pacers saw their winning streak end at six as they were defeated by the Milwaukee Bucks 106-97.

Giannis Antetokounmpo rallied Milwaukee from a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter and finished with a 33 point, 19 rebound and 11 assist triple-double while Malcolm Brogdon added 17 points.
“There are only so many things you can do,” Pacers forward Thaddeus Young said about trying to slow down Antetokounmpo. “But when he’s trying to post you up in the middle and is just spinning, he’s already at the rim. It’s just a tough battle. He did what he’s supposed to do.”
Bojan Bogdanovic led the Pacers with 20 points while Darren Collison and Domantas Sabonis each had 14.
Indiana only scored 18 points in both the first and fourth quarters and allowed the Bucks to pull down 52 rebounds.
The Pacers now head into the All-Star break with the third-best record in the Eastern Conference (38-20) and will wrap up their six-game homestand when they resume play on Friday, February 22 when they host the New Orleans Pelicans.
