(BEDFORD) – Angel Hawkins is running for Bedford City Council At-Large seat.
The following is a statement:
My name is Angel Hawkins. I am a life-long resident of Lawrence County and reside in the city of Bedford with my husband, Heath and our daughter, Lilly Jean.
I am a full-time real estate broker at Keach and Grove Real Estate, and small business owner of Turn-Key Enterprises, LLC, a home renovation company that strives for community improvement.
I am seeking election for Bedford City Council At-Large (R).
I graduated class of 2005 from Bedford North Lawrence High School and later attended Indiana University and Ivy Tech Community College, studying nursing and psychology. I later obtained my professional real estate brokers license through RECP of Indiana. I am also a director on the Bedford Board of Realtors and member of Mount Pleasant Christian Church.
Having worked with folks from all backgrounds and walks of life, I am aware of the challenges facing our community as we work, grow, and prosper.
I am running for Bedford City Council because I feel there has never been a better time to get involved and ensure commonsense conservative policies are in place moving forward.
Improving Infrastructure, increasing health and safety, improving quality and affordable housing availability, and ensuring fiscally sound decision making would be a top priority.
I would be honored to have the opportunity to serve my community on a deeper level and invest in the long term growth of our beautiful city.
