(BEDFORD) – Bedford North Lawrence High School is hosting a Champions Together Event Friday night when the BNL Stars take on the Mitchell Blue Jackets at the BNL Fieldhouse.
The Junior Varsity Boys Basketball game will begin at 6 p.m. with the Varsity team playing at 7:30 p.m.
Champions Together is a collaborative partnership between the Indiana High School Athletic Association and Special Olympics Indiana that promotes servant leadership among student-athletes while changing their lives as well as the lives of those with intellectual disabilities.
The BNL Baseball team is hosting a chili supper from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Supper includes a blow of chili, dessert, and drink for $5. The meal will be served in the corridor between the auxiliary gym and fieldhouse. Proceeds will benefit the baseball team.
T-shirts will be sold for $10, and a bucket will be passed to collect funds for the Special Olympics of Indiana.
At halftime, there will be a shoot-around contest and the rollercoaster.
