Amy Beth Brinkman – Mitchell

Amy Beth Brinkman, 55, of Mitchell, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at Indiana University Health Hospice House in Bloomington.
Born June 28, 1963, in Greensburg, she was the daughter of Clarence Roman and Rosemarie Mary (Strack) Raab. She married Douglas Richard Brinkman December 28, 1982.
Amy was a homemaker and had been employed at the Mitchell Community Schools and D&D Star Stop. She had been a Girl Scout leader for many years and was a caregiver. Amy was her children’s biggest cheerleader. She was an active member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Douglas Brinkman of Mitchell; children, Anthony (Jamie) Brinkman of El Paso, Texas, Christy (Jared) Brinkman-Robertson of Terre Haute, Amanda (Aaron) Todd of Bloomington, Andrew (Caitlin) Brinkman of Terre Haute, Jodi (Alex) Fleenor of Mitchell; grandchildren, Dakota Brinkman, Norah Robertson, Rowen Brinkman, and Elizabeth Brinkman; siblings, Donald Raab of Cincinnati, Jayne Raab of Cincinnati, JoAnn Brinkman of Cincinnati, Richard Raab of Cincinnati
Her parents preceded her in death.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 31, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Mitchell with Father Rick Eldred and Deacon Dave Reising officiating. Entombment will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center. The rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m.

Stephen Alan Morris – Bedford
September 29, 1952 – December 26, 2018
Stephen Alan Morris, 66, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at Garden Villa.
Born September 29, 1952, in Putnam County, he was the son of Delbert and Mary (Kirk) Morris. He married Mary Esther Allen February 17, 1973.
Stephen had been employed in construction and also at Sears. He was a member of the Mitchell Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Morris of Bedford; sons, Rodney (Rachel) Morris of Bedford, Jeremy (Stephanie) Morris of Bedford, Jeff (Misty) Morris of Bedford; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Morris, Jake Morris, Tyler Morris, Luke Morris, Amelia Lawmaster, Tucker Morris, John Morris, Hunter Morris and Addison Morris; siblings, Leon Morris of Spencer
and Lois Spears of Spencer
His parents and sister, Marilyn Newby, preceded him in death.
Cremation was chosen. A celebration of life service will at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 29, at the Mitchell Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Joel Parsons officiating.
