Tucson, AZ – Douglass Alan Johnson, 74, of Tucson AZ, formerly of Indiana, passed away in Tucson, Arizona on Sunday, December 2, 2018.
Douglass was born on November 12, 1944, in Indianapolis, IN, to Phillip Carter Johnson and Elizabeth Jayne Standish. He worked in banking and retail, most recently at Circle K. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. A member of the US Army, achieving the rank of Sergeant. He was of the Quaker faith.
Survivors one daughter, Laura Johnson-Bordelon and her husband Charlie of DeRidder, LA; sisters Kathi Johnson, Lisa Francis, Marsha Schull; mother of his child, Claudia Dille.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 10th at Green Hill Cemetery with Rev. Joan Smoke officiating and military rites accorded by the Gillen Post #33 American Legion. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

Charlotte Ruth White, 86, of Mitchell, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018, at Paoli Health and Living Community.
Born December 31, 1931, in Martin County, she was the daughter of Paul Thomas and Eva (Miller) Mundy. She married Harold White March 2, 1951, and he preceded her in death on October 26, 2007.
Charlotte was an educational secretary 29 years at Mitchell Community Schools and a 1949 graduate of Huron High School. She was a member and former Sunday school teacher at Hillcrest Christian Church. Charlotte enjoyed writing poems.
Survivors include her sons, Stephfan Lee White of Mitchell and Kevin Lynn White of West Baden Springs; grandchildren, Matthew Shannondoah White, Jared Brandon White, Chad Michael White, Brooke Lea White, and Levi Dakota White; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Janelle Grissom, Mitchell
Her parents; husband; and brothers, Knofel Mundy and Nelson Mundy, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Pastor Charlie Scott and Pastor Dwight Dunbar officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
