Marcia Tolbert – Mitchell

Marcia Tolbert, 76, of Mitchell, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at her residence.
Born August 24, 1941, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Benjamin and Iva (Williams) Etchison. She married Joseph Norman Tolbert March 31, 1961, and he preceded her in death April 30, 2016.
Marcia was a homemaker, farmer, and had been employed at M. Fine & Son and retired from Dana Corporation. She was a member of Fairview Church of Christ, and loved spending time with her family. Marcia graduated from Huron High School in 1959.
Survivors include her children, Brian (Rebekah) Tolbert of Williams, Paula (Jeff) McKnight of Mitchell, Christopher (Jenny) Tolbert of Mitchell; grandchildren, Andy McKnight, Laurin Perry, Christopher Tolbert II, Dominic Tolbert, Whitley Tolbert, and Alex Brown; 15 great grandchildren
Her parents; husband; and siblings, Ruby Kinder, Louise Terrell, Marie Mundy, Luella Etchison, Lucille Lynch, Lorene Mitchell, and Leroy Etchison, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, January 8, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Brother Richard Holt and Brother Chris Beasley officiating. Burial will be in Port William Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. until the service on Monday at the funeral home.
