The Hunter family grieves the loss of Sue Alice (Thomas) Hunter, 90 years of age.
Sue was born to parents, Ralph and Jessie (Williams) Thomas. She was raised alongside six brothers and sisters in the Pinhook area and graduated in 1944 from Shawswick High School.

Their home was a busy place, but the door was always open to visitors. Sue was a great country cook, often feeding twenty or more on Sundays. As a member of the North Bedford Church of Christ, she was an encouraging example to young wives and mothers.
Sue was active in her community as well. She was longtime treasurer of the Flatwood Neighbors Club and a charter member. She was the classroom “Grandma” to Mrs. Carolyn Tincher’s first graders at Heltonville Elementary for many years.
She will be greatly missed by her children, Walter (Cindy) Hunter, Tom, Sudie, and Keith Hunter, of Heltonville, Don (Marilyn) Hunter, and Dwight (Ramona) Hunter, of Bedford, and Kevin (Mary) Hunter, of Bloomington.
