Bernice (Morrison) Alhorn, 90, of Bedford, died at 4:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Westview Nursing Home and Rehabilitation.
Born February 21, 1926 in Tennessee, she was the daughter of Herschel and May (Hudson) Morrison. She married Marion E. Alhorn on February 27, 1946 and he passed away on June 5, 1999. Bernice was a cashier for Hooks Drugs for many years. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include her three daughters, Rosemary (Bill) Clampitt of Bedford, Rebecca (Charles) Bliss of Bedford and Bernadette (Larry) Dipple of Anderson; son, Richard Alhorn; sister, Goldie Milan of Tennessee; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marion; daughter, JoEllen Lee; three sisters, Alberta, Genez and Lucille; brother, Garner Morrison.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 2, 2016 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Father Rick Eldred and Deacon Dave Reising officiating. Visitation will be 4 p.m. till 8 p.m. today Thursday at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. tonight.
