Donnal Hopewell – Bedford

Donna Rose Hopewell, 85, of Bedford, formerly of Washington, IN, died at 3 a.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at the Paoli Health & Living Center.
Born July 12, 1931, in Daviess Co., IN, she was the daughter of Cornelius and Amelia (Miller) Colbert. She retired from Naval Weapons Support Center after twenty-seven and one half years of service. She attended Mt. Pleasant Christian Church.
Survivors include two grandchildren, Lance Hopewell, of McCordsville, IN, and Heather Johnson, of Fishers; two great grandchildren, Chase Ashlyn Johnson; several nieces and nephews; a daughter-in- law, Carol Hopewell, of Fishers, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Levi and John Colbert; three sisters, Bernice Divine, Mary Risley and Bonnie Thompson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 18th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Jeff Hudelson officiating. A committal service will follow at 3 p.m. on Friday in Sugarland Memorial Gardens in Washington, IN. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of service on Friday, November 18th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
