Dick Williams, 87,of Mitchell, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born January 8, 1929, in Bedford, he was the son of Herbert and Lottie (Roberts) Williams. He married Bettie J. Williams July 10, 1948. Dick was a proud ironworker that assisted in the construction of the RCA Dome and several buildings at Indiana University, to include the library and the stadium. Despite falling from several buildings, he managed to retire with more than 20 years in the profession. He was best known to his friends as “Dickey-Do.”
Dick was a 1948 graduate of Needmore High School. He was a member of Mitchell Masonic Lodge No. 228 F&AM, Shrine and past exalted ruler of Elks Lodge 484 in New Castle, and Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis. Dick was a member of the First Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Bettie J. Williams, of Mitchell; grandchildren, Gretchen (Robert) King, Noah (Niki) Williams, Ben (Sarah) Williams, Clancey (Bob) Alexander, Stephanie (Tim) Rexing, Patrick (Kari) Alexander; grandson-in- law, Justin Grant; great grandchildren, Abraham King, Lorelai King, Bailey Williams, Emerson Williams, Sydney Rexing, Morgan Grant, Jordan Grant, Jacob Alexander, and Katie Alexander; several nieces and nephews
His parents; son, Richard Douglas “Doug” Williams, granddaughter, Mary Jo Grant; and siblings, Bob Williams, Art Williams, Nancy Williams, and Dorothy Hatfield, preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, November 13, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Reverend Jim Hatfield officiating. Cremation will follow. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the service on Sunday at the funeral home.

Mary Frances Albertson – Mitchell
Mary Frances Albertson, 61, passed away Monday, November 7, 2016, at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born July 27, 1955, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Dallas and Joyce (Hayes) Roll. Mary was a homemaker and her life revolved around her grandchildren.
Survivors include her son, Jerry Ray (Leslie) Albertson, of Mitchell; daughter, Shane Marie Duncan, of Mitchell; father of her children, Jerry Albertson, of Bedford; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Carolyn Knoy, of Mitchell, Connie Bennett, of Mitchell, Kim Mitchell, of Bedford; brothers, James Roll, of Bedford, Steve Roll, of Bedford
Her parents and son-in- law, Monte Duncan, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, November 11, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the service on Friday at the funeral home.

Edgar Paul Bunch – Mitchell
Edgar Paul Bunch, 46, passed away Monday, November 7, 2016, at Kindred Transitional Care in Greenwood.
Born September 9, 1970, in Bedford, he was the son of Robert Eugene Bunch and Beverly Ann (Sullivan) Higgs.
Edgar enjoyed watching wrestling and liked to fish and camp. He attended Living Water Church of God.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Beverly and Ronnie Higgs, of Mitchell; siblings, Robert Eugene Bunch, Jr., of Scottsburg, Kaylee Burton, of Bedford
His father and sister, Tobey Stroud, preceded him in death.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. till 7 p.m. Saturday at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Cremation will follow.
