Mary Alice (Conner) Lackey – Springville
February 6, 1929 – July 19, 2016
Mary Alice (Conner) Lackey, 87, of Springville, went on to eternal life to be with her Savior and love ones that went before her, at 4:32 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Hospital, Indianapolis.
Born February 6, 1929, in Lawrence County, IN, she was the daughter of Elzada (Conner) Lagle. She was raised by her grandparents, Frank and Catherine Anna Conner. She married Lloyd W. Lackey who preceded her in death on June 27, 1969. Mary Alice was a homemaker who loved the outdoors, camping and animals. She took in many strays in over the years.
Survivors include her three sons, Dennis (Susan) Lackey, Anderson, Lane (Crystal) Lackey, Springville, and Randy Lackey, Bedford; two daughters, Constance(Gerald) Kern and Lana (Michael) Eggers, both of Bedford; 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; two brothers, Bill and Dean Lagle; and one sister, Shirley Lagle.
She was preceded in death by her mother, her grandparents, her husband, two brothers, Gary and Alfred Lagle, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2016, at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, Bedford, with Lane Lackey officiating. Burial will be in Hilltop Cemetery, Avoca.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the service hour at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

Barbara F. “Bobbi” Sallee – Bedford
Barbara Faye “Bobbi” Sallee, 93, passed away Tuesday afternoon, July 19, 2016, at Garden Villa in Bedford.
Born June 30, 1923, in Tunnelton, she was the daughter of Thomas Joshua and Myrtle
(Jean) Faris. She married Frank Winfred Sallee in 1939, and he preceded her in death
September 18, 1999. Bobbi had been employed as a bookkeeper and was a beautician. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Frank R. Sallee of Bedford; 3 grandchildren
Her parents; husband; and siblings, Ernest Faris, Ellen Hobson, Rachael Starr, Anna Mary Gabbard, Nona Haley, Kathryn Wade, Virginia Bennett, and Izillah Bush, preceded her in death.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 23, at White River Baptist Cemetery. There is no scheduled visitation at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.

Lois Lorene Hamilton – Columbus
Lois Lorene Hamilton, 93, formerly of Mitchell, passed away Monday evening, July 18, 2016, at Silver Oaks Health Campus in Columbus.
Born July 4, 1923, in Campbellsburg, she was the daughter of Ermil R. and Bessie (Lawyer) Hamilton.
Lois was a bookkeeper and had been employed at Fitch Chevrolet and Tom Lane Datsun. She graduated from Campbellsburg High School in 1942 and was a member of the First Christian Church in Columbus. She was a former member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority.
Survivors include her sisters, Virginia Mae Ramey of Mitchell, Ruby Jeannette Gause of Florida.
Her parents and siblings, Walter Eugene Hamilton, Ermil Ray Hamilton, Jr., and Roger David Hamilton, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 22, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Pastor Mike Collins officiating. Burial will be in Saltillo Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the service on Friday at the funeral home.
