Robert “Bob” Fullen – Bedford
Robert “Bob” Fullen, 62, of Bedford, died at 6:20 a.m. Sunday, June 14, 2015, at his residence.
Born June 9, 1953, in Phoenix, AZ, he was the son of Oscar Harold and Bonnie Louise (McNeely) Fullen.
He married Virginia Carolyn Davis on January 29, 1972 in Norwalk, CT; and she survives.
He was a sawyer at Elliott Stone Co., Bedford, for 15 years; and was owner of Bob Fullen Home Repair and Remodeling, for 15 years. Bob was a loving husband of 43 years and a kind and caring father; he was a hardworking and talented craftsman, spending his years building and remodeling homes in the Lawrence County area.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia “Ginny” Fullen, Bedford; one son, Tony (Katie Wimsett) Fullen, Louisville, KY; one daughter, Elizabeth (Joseph) Keen, Atlanta, GA; grandchildren Cassie and Alana Fullen and Jacob, Olivia, and Madeline Keen; brothers Larry, Gary, Tony and Stanley Fullen; and one sister, Kay Fullen.
A private family graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, at Fayetteville Community Cemetery with Fr. Rick Eldred and Deacon Dave Reising officiating. There will be no period of visitation.

Jerald Vance Carter – Mitchell
Jerald Vance Carter, 66, of Mitchell, passed away at 7:50 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015, at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital in Bedford.
Born February 25, 1949, in Mitchell, he was the son of Robert and Rose Marie (Jones)
Carter. He had been employed at Ford-Visteon, and graduated from Mitchell High School in 1967. Jerald was a U. S. Army veteran stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War and a member of American Legion Post No. 250.
Survivors include his daughters, Jennifer Ann Bell, Bedford; Melissa Dawn Hays, Bedford; Jo Carter Scott, Heltonville; mother and stepfather, Rose and Jim Gentry, Mitchell; father, Robert Carter, Paoli; 5 grandchildren; siblings, Danny Carter, Scottsburg, Steven Carter, Orleans, Diana Bollhorst, Bedford; several nieces and nephews
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 17, at Haverly Funeral Chapel with Brother Don Hicks officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery with military honors accorded by American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107. Friends may call from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral chapel.
