Florence Byers – Bedford
Florence Byers, 94, of Bedford, died Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at her residence.

Barbara F. Kelly – Bedford
Barbara F. Kelly, 73, of Bedford, died at 4:24 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2015, at I. U. Health, Bedford.
Born April 28, 1941, in Vine Grove, KY, she was the daughter of Norvin T. Bickers and Kathryne Fay (Kelly) Bickers.
She married Bill Kelly in 1984 and he died Nov. 30, 2005.
She was a member of River’s Edge Church, Bedford and was a homemaker.
Surviving are six daughters, Barbara (Richard) Garrett, Carollton, KY, Linda (Joe) Noble, Hanover, IN, Debbie Carlisle, Mitchell, IN, Donna (David) Law, Scottsburg, IN, Mollie (Riyad) Shamma, West Chester OH, and Norma (Donald) Rainey, Ft. Worth, TX; one son, Roy (Sherry) Webster Jr., Ft. Worth, TX; nineteen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; two sisters, Toni (A.W.) Steele, Lebanon, OH, and Nina Adams, Lexington, KY; and three brothers, Jerry (Marion) Cecil, Winchester KY, Donnie (Pat) Bickers, Walhalla, S.C., and Bob (Neoma) Bickers, Downey, ID.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Charles Bickers, in infancy and Norvin Louis Bickers; and one grandson, David Allen Law, Jr.
Funeral service will be on Thursday, April 2, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, Bedford, with Pastor Phil Thorne officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m.

Michael Norman Boling – Mitchell
Michael Norman Boling, 66 ,of Mitchell, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at his residence.
Born May 29, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of James Edward and Mildred (Hawthorne) Boling. He was married to Bonnie Link for 30 years. Michael was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War with four Bronze Service Stars, a member of American Legion Post No. 250, and a contract administrator for the U.S. International Trade Commission in Washington D. C. He enjoyed painting and was a Sunday school teacher and member of Mt. Horeb Baptist Church.
Survivors include his brothers Richard Boling, Salem and Steven Gene Boling, Illinois
His parents preceded him in death.
A memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Monday, April 6, Mt. Horeb Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Williams officiating. Military honors will be accorded by American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107. Burial will be at a later date in Saltillo Cemetery.

Betty Lou Artman – Mitchell
Betty Lou Artman, 65, of Mitchell, passed away at 4:40 p.m. Sunday, March 29, 2015, at Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital.
Born June 9, 1949, in Campbellsburg, she was the daughter of Franklin and Vivian (Green) Guthrie. She married Ronald Greg Artman September 9, 1968.Betty was a certified nursing assistant for 46 years and had been employed at Mitchell Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Safe at Home Health Care. She graduated from Boone County High School in 1966. She was a member of Woodville Baptist Church and an avid supporter of the Blessed Hearts Gospel Ministry.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald G. Artman, Mitchell; children Kimberly (Bruce) Nickless, Orleans, Gregory Thomas (Liz) Artman, Bedford, Nicole Michelle (Ryan) Nicholas, Bedford; 8 grandchildren; siblings, Donald Keith Guthrie, Campbellsburg, Rebecca Sue Gibbons, Pittsboro
Her parents and brothers, Ronald Kent Guthrie and Michael Lee Guthrie, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 3, at Woodville Baptist Church with Reverend Glenn Hamer officiating. Burial will be in Cavetown Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center and from 9:30 a.m. until the service on Friday at the church.
