Kathy Ann (Mowry) Wagner – Bedford

Kathy Ann (Mowry) Wagner, 59, of Bedford, passed away on Saturday January 24, 2015 in Bedford.
She was born on May 1, 1955 in Bedford, the daughter of Marion (Clark) Mowry and Robert Mowry.
Kathy was a lifelong employee at Visteon in Bedford before transferring to Washington, D.C. as an employee of Communications Workers of America, CWA/IUE Local 907.
Survivors include her children, Stephanie (Harbstreit) Blackmore of Bedford and Trent Harbstreit of Bedford, grandchildren, Mallorie Jones of Bedford, Lane Hollingsworth of Bedford, Cole, Chey-Ann and Clay Harbstreit of Bedford, Mother, Marion Mowry of Oolitic, Father, Robert (Bea) Mowry of Marion, Ohio, Sister, Nancy Fox of Bedford and her children, Taylor and Kaylee, Brother, Robbie (Jackie) Mowry of Bedford and children, Landon (Alisha) Mowry of Indianapolis, and Mallarie and Meredith Moore of Bedford, Brother, Bob (Staci) Mowry of Marion, Ohio, Several Aunts, Uncles, cousins and wonderful friends.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Warren and Louise Mowry and Maternal grandparents, George and Nellie Clark.
Kathy adored her grandchildren who called her “Mamaw Goose” and she was equally caring to her nieces and nephews. Kathy was loved by all who knew her and she always had a smile and a laugh with whomever she came in contact. Kathy will be missed immensely.
Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. on Tuesday January 27, 2015 at Cresthaven Funeral Home with Bro. Jim McDowell officiating. Friends may call from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. service time on Tuesday at Cresthaven Funeral Home

Ray G. Merry – Bedford

Ray G. Merry, 92, passed away at 6 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2015, at Mitchell Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center.
Born October 24, 1922, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Benny and Nellie (Hickman) Merry. He married Edna L. Miller June 17, 1944.
Ray retired from Lehigh Cement Company and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
He was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include wife, Edna Merry, Mitchell; children, Eve Elaine (Ron) Neal, Anderson; Alan R. Merry, Dallas, Texas; son-in-law, Don Fortner, Jasper; grandchildren, Jason A. Fortner, Laura N. Bupp, Cara Elaine Schulz, Lindsay R. Campbell;12 great grandchildren;sister, Sylvia Eckard, Sparta, Michigan
His parents; daughter, Susan L. Fortner; brothers, Arthur Merry and Jesse Merry; and sister, Louise Hopper preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Reverend Reggie Clark officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery with military honors accorded by American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Casketbearers: Jason Fortner, Tucker Decker, Bobby Robbins, David Lee Miller, Morgan Schulz, and Jason Campbell.

Patricia Ann Jones – Bedford
Patricia Ann Jones, 80, died Friday evening at IU Health Bedford Hospital.
Born November 4, 1934 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Benjamin Roberts and Belva (Henderson) Roberts. She married Doyle F. (Little Boy) Jones on May 6, 1954 and he preceded her in death on July 19, 2011. She was a Kindergarten Aide for 22 years at Needmore Elementary School. She was a member of the Fayetteville Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Pamela Younger and her husband Joey, of Williams; one son, David Jones and his wife Paige, of Bedford; four grandchildren, Misty Deckard and her husband Curt, Jessica Bailey and her husband Nathan, Aaron Jones and his wife Hannah, and Brandon Jones; four great-grandchildren, Taylor and Hailey Deckard, Noah and Jonah Bailey; one sister, Carolyn Sue Tolbert, of Mitchell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 am on Tuesday, January 27th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Kenny Walden officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm on Monday, January 26th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
