Jeremy Duane Morris – Bloomington
Jeremy Duane “Wookie” Morris, 38, of Bloomington, died Monday, January 12, 2015, at his residence.
Born February 23, 1976, he was the son of Dennis Morris and Anita (Haste) Morris. He was a graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School with the Class of 1994 and a self-employed contractor in construction. He was a big guy with a big heart, always offering to help anyone in need.
Surviving are his mother, Anita (Mike) Baker, Indianapolis; his father, Dennis (Toni) Morris, Bedford; one daughter, Amaya Morris, Danville; one son, A. J. Henry, Hallendale, FL; one brother, Jay Morris, Danville, IN; one step-sister, Jessica (Gilbert) Patrick, Nashville, IN; his paternal grandfather, William Morris, Bedford; his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Haste, Bedford; one nephew Jai Paul Patrick, Nashville, IN; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Melphia Morris and his maternal grandfather, William Haste.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, Bedford, with Pastor Jordan Morris officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Bedford. Friends may call on Monday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Virginia Love Waggoner – Mitchell
Virginia Love Waggoner, 91, of Mitchell, passed away at 2:05 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2015, at White River Lodge in Bedford.
Born September 30, 1923, in Lawrence County, Illinois, she was the daughter of Asbury and Anna (Sanders) Mills. She married Harvey Russell Waggoner November 15, 1947, and he preceded her in death May 17, 1996. Virginia was a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughter, Delores A. Norrington, Bedford; grandchildren, Darren Norrington, Mitchell, Angela Norrington, Bedford; great grandchildren, Andrew Norrington, Ian Norrington, Jenna Norrington; sisters, Darlene Hannah, Montgomery, Illinois, Delila Dewey, Warrenton, Missouri
Her parents; husband; son-in-law, Darrell Norrington; infant sister, Regina Martella Mills; and brother, Artrel Mills, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 20, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Rev. Dr. Robert Courson officiating. Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Goodwill Cemetery in Loogootee. Friends may call from 3:00 p.m. until the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Wilda K. Wells – Mitchell
Wilda K. Wells, 90, of Mitchell, passed away at 5:05 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2015, at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born October 12, 1924, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Gordon J. and Laura B. (Crane) Standley. She married Carl F. Wells September 12, 1953. Wilda retired in 1985 as manager of Spring Mill Inn. She graduated from Mitchell High School in 1942, and was a member of Jacob Finger United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Carl F. Wells, Mitchell; son, James Mayfield, Jeffersonville; one granddaughter; sisters, Wallacia Schanz, Bedford and Wuanita Holmes, Bedford
Her parents and brother, Gorman “Bud” Standley, preceded her in death.
Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 20, at Mitchell Cemetery with Reverend Eric Kersey and Pastor Rick Catlett officiating. There is no scheduled visitation.
