JoAnne Ducker – Oolitic
JoAnne Ducker, 88, of Bloomington, formerly of Oolitic, died at 12:35 pm, on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospice House.
Born July 21, 1926 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Dewey “Rip” and Ruth (Swango) Hatfield. She married Ivan Ducker in 1946 and he survives. She was a clerk at the Greystone Gift Shoppe for 27 years and a member of the First Baptist Church of Bedford, where she was an active member of American Baptist Women’s Missions. JoAnne is fondly remembered for always having the right decorations for any occasion. Her persimmon pudding and cherry delight were family favorites.
Survivors include her husband, Ivan, of Bloomington; two sons, Mark Ducker and wife, Mary of Ypsilanti, MI, Kerry Ducker and wife, Debbie of Bloomington; four grandchildren, Ben, Zak, Scott and Kara; one great grandchild, Evie; a sister, Patty (Hatfield) Davis of Owensburg; two brothers, Don Hatfield of Oolitic and Doug Hatfield of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Wayne, Warren and Dick Hatfield; a sister, Joyce Gallagher.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Thursday, November 6th in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Dr. Kregg Burris officiating. Entombment will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5th and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service on Thursday,
November 6th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church Women’s Ministries.

Glen Bauser, Sr. – Owensburg
Glen Bauser, Sr., 65, of Owensburg, died at 9 pm on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at his residence.
Born March 18, 1949 in Hammond, IN, he was the son of Leslie and Virginia (Laviolette) Bauser. He married Kathy Boykin on July 5, 1970 and she survives. He owned and operated a machinist business. Glen was a loving husband, father and an avid hunter.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy, of Owensburg; children, Glenna, Holly, and Glen, and their spouses; grandchildren, John and Grace; two sisters, Kathy Nichels, and Judy Nelson; brother, Ronnie Bauser; mother-in-law, Norma Heisler.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Vernel Bauser and Robert Bauser.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm on Monday, in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Owensburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 am until the hour of service on Monday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

Norma Jean Strange – Orleans
Norma Jean Strange, 84, of Orleans, passed away at 10:55 p.m. on October 31, 2014 at Paoli Health and Living Community.
She was born in Paoli, IN, the daughter of John W. and Edna Mae (Britton) Strange. She was a homemaker and assisted with the cleaned duties at Dr. Schoolfield’s office for many years.
She is survived by one sister-in-law, Nancy Strange of Orleans; two nieces, Tiffany (Marvin) Hall of Orleans and Leslie McLaughlin (Cory Street) of Paoli; two nephews, Derek Strange (Tracy Bailey) of Hardinsburg and Jonathan Strange (Mary Ellen) of Mitchell; several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert Strange.
The graveside service will be on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 1 pm at Fairview Cemetery with Reverend Michael Williams officiating. Friends are invited to visitation at the Ochs-Tetrick Funeral Home on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Luella M. Clampitt – Bedford
Luella M. Clampitt, 91, of Bedford, passed away at 6:05 p.m. on Friday, October 31, 2014, at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital.
Born February 25, 1923 in Bedford, Indiana, she was the daughter of John F. and Alpha (Bartlett) Manzenberger.
She married James F. Clampitt on December 24, 1946; he preceded her in death on May 2, 2010. She was a graduate of Heltonville High School, Class of 1940. She lived most of her life on their farm near Buddha where she was a member of the White River Baptist Church. She loved directing plays and musicals at the church for several years. She was also involved in various programs at Tunnelton School. She loved painting and also made a quilt by hand for each of her 14 grandkids. She was a 4-H leader for several years and was a member of the gospel quartet for many years. She had previously worked at Citizens National Bank.
Surviving are sons, James M. (Cora) Clampitt, of Mexico, Missouri, Jerry E. (Tracey) Clampitt, of Bedford, and Jody (Tami) Clampitt, of Heltonville; daughter, Jane (John) Fansler, of Norman; grandchildren, Jimmy (Angie) Clampitt, J.W. (Stephanie) Fansler, Jordan (Carl) Roeder, Andy (Erin) Clampitt, Philip Clampitt, Jared Clampitt, Jonathan Clampitt, Joel Clampitt, Kyle (Katie) Clampitt, Heather (Brian) Leaver, Jennifer (Chris) McLeod, Joseph (fiancé Serena) Clampitt, Josten (Casey) Fish, and Joshua Clampitt; great-grandchildren, Abby, James, Maggie, Ben, Joanna, Emma, Karys, Quentin, Paige, Finn, Baby Roeder, and Baby McLeod; one great-great grandchild, Lucas; and sisters, Mildred Deckard, of Bedford, and Alpha McKnight, of Heltonville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, John T. Clampitt; grandson, Jeffrey; brothers, Bill, Joe, Frank, and Johnny Manzenberger; and sisters, Catherine Covey, Helen Reuter, Angie Seago, and Mary Jane Moses.
Funeral service will be on Tuesday, November 4, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, with Bro. Kenny Dalton officiating. Burial will be in Gilgal Cemetery in Heltonville. Friends may call on Monday, from 2 p.m. till 8 p.m.. and Tuesday, 10 a.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.
