Jerry F. Medlock – Bedford
Jerry F. Medlock, 72, of Bedford, died at 9:42 pm on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Stonebridge Health Campus.
Born January 13, 1942 in Orange Co. he was the son of John and Ruth (Freed) Medlock. He was an independent truck driver retiring in 1972 and was a member of the Englewood Baptist Church. He married Carol Susan Wagner on March 19, 1988 and she survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Elizabeth Medlock of Bedford; four sons, Matthew Medlock and wife, Candice, Max Medlock and wife, Lisa, Terry Medlock and wife, Barbara, all of Bedford, Wayne Medlock and wife, Murie of Saltillo; four granddaughters, Trinity Medlock, Shannon Patton, Tina Covey and Sandy Smith; and two grandsons, Dylan Medlock (unborn) and Timothy Medlock; two brothers, Jim and Robert Medlock; three sisters, Carol Anne Collins, Mary Jane Kinser and Betty Jean Davenport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Donnie Medlock; a sister, Margaret Stewart and a grandson, Baby Ralph Medlock.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm on Thursday, May 1st at the Englewood Baptist Church with Pastor David Ferry officiating. Burial will follow in Dive Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 am until the hour of service on Thursday, May 1 at the Englewood Baptist Church.

Burnetta Stout – Bedford
Burnetta Stout, 97, formerly of Leipsic, passed away at 11:10 p.m. Sunday, April 27, 2014, at the Bliss House.
Born February 17, 1917, in Washington County, she was the daughter of Henry Earl and Iva (Jean) Rosenbaum. She married Roy A. Stout, August 4, 1940, and he preceded her in death May 5, 1989.
She was a member of the Leipsic United Methodist Church, and enjoyed quilting, gardening, and working in her yard. Burnetta graduated from Orleans High School in 1934.
Survivors sons, James Stout, West Baden, Marvin (Karen) Stout, Salem; daughter Martha (Phillip) Brown, Campbellsburg; grandchildren, Scott Brown, Salem, Aaron Brown, Penn Valley, California, Jamie (Scott) Hensley, St. Charles, Missouri, Jennifer (Ray) Rico, St. Charles, Missouri, Ali (Daniel) Guess, New Albany, Katie Stout, Louisville, Kentucky; 6 great grandchildren
Her parents; husband; brothers, Eugene and William Arthur Rosenbaum; sisters Lauretta Kaiser and Alletta Hall preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 2, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Brother Nelson Lee officiating. Burial will be in Cavetown Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 9:30 a.m. until the service on Friday at the funeral home.
