Rebecca (Becky) Hedge – Bedford
Rebecca (Becky) Hedge, 60, of Bedford, died at 5:57 pm on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born, November 25, 1953 in Indianapolis, IN, she was the daughter of Sam and Frances (Cox) Spinks. She married Tony Hedge on October 23, 1976 and he survives. She was employed at Bedford Regional Medical Center for 30 years in Dietary, the Labor Institute for 10 years in Dietary and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Tony, of Bedford; one daughter Erin Hedge, of Bedford; two brothers Scott Spinks of Louisville, KY and Brian Spinks of Bedford; two sisters Nancy Thiet of Meza, AZ and Teresa Wilson of Avoca.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 am on Saturday, March 1, 2014 in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Kenny Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm on Friday, February 28th at Day & Carter Mortuary.

Clyde Gerold Scott – Williams
Clyde Gerold Scott, 91, of Williams, passed away at 6:40 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at his residence.
Born February 25, 1923, in Terre Haute, Indiana, he was the son of Claude G. and Sadie Rheia (Cohn) Scott. He married Nettie (Johnson) Scott on July 9, 1968; and she survives. He attended electronic engineering school, and retired as an electronic engineer from Scotties Sales and Service. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in three tours, World War II, and the Korean War with the Signal Corps. His total service in the Navy was fourteen years. He worked with his wife helping the Yaua Pai Apache reservation. He loved the children and adopted two Yaua Pai Apache Children. He was a member of the New Hope Church of God in Scottsburg. He taught his children to pray and sing. He loved sports and loved to golf.
Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Nettie Scott, of Williams; six children, Ruth Annette Scott, Jeannette Doerkson, Suzette Lightfoot, Claude Gerald Scott, Thomas Beauty Scott, Franklin Ralph Scott, and Shirley Bochelli; and sixteen grandchildren.
He had prayed that he would live long enough to see his latest twin grandchildren born. The latest twin grandchildren were brought home to see him and he held them in his arms, and then passed on to be with the Lord. They were born on the 24th, his birthday was the 25th, and he passed away the 26th.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Vicky Dianne Scott; one brother Raymond Scott; two nephews; and one niece.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, with Johnny Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Dive Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
