Jack Doub – Mitchell
Jack Doub, 83, of Mitchell, passed away at 10:35 a.m. Thursday, October 31, at Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, November 3, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and from noon until the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
Twila Jane Boshears – Bedford
Twila Jane Boshears, 68, of Bedford, died at 11:40 am on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at I. U. Hospice House of Bloomington.
Born September 26, 1945 in Altamont, IL, she was the daughter of Gordon Henderson and Thelma Davis. She was a graduate of the Oolitic High School with the class of 1963. She married Stephen Boshears on June 25, 1965 and he survives. She retired from NWSC Crane. She was an active member of the Mt. Pleasant Christian Church where she had served as treasurer. She was a member of Altrusa, Federal Workers Union, BNL Boosters and as associate member of the Lawrence Co. Retired Teachers Assoc. She loved her sons, grandchildren, cross-stitching, sewing and BNL sports.
Survivors include her husband, Steve of Bedford; her father Gordon Henderson and wife Juanita (Taylor) of Bedford; three sons, Stephen Joseph Boshears and wife Teresa, of Bedford, Troy Andrew Boshears and wife Wendy, of Seymour, Ryan Keith Boshears and wife Sandy, of Southport; eight grandchildren, Stephen Jordan Boshears and wife
Jamie, Lauren Elizabeth Boshears, Andrew James Boshears, Michael Joseph Boshears, Ryan Hunter Boshears, Harrison James Boshears, Guerin Anthony Boshears, Grace Olivia Boshears; her siblings, Jim Henderson and wife Nickii, Mary Miller and husband Mike, all of Bedford, Doris Todd and husband Monty, of Heltonville, Thom Henderson and wife Betty, of Orleans; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, a sister-in-law Anne Henderson and a nephew Cory Henderson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am on Saturday, November 2nd at Mt. Pleasant Christian Church with Jeff Hudelson and Joe Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 pm to 8 pm on Friday, November 1 at the church.
The family ask friends to consider memorial contributions to the Mt. Pleasant Christian Church.

Robert Duane Arthur – Avoca
Robert Duane Arthur age 61 of Avoca, passed away on Tuesday October 29, 2013 at 9:42 pm at his residence.
He was born on February 15, 1952 in Bedford to Richard Arthur & Myra (Holtsclaw) Fish. Robert was a Graduate of Edgewood High School in 1970 and an US Army veteran, he was a Plumber & former owner of Pipe Dreams in Bedford. Robert married Sandy Graves and she survives.
Survivors include his wife; Sandy Arthur of Avoca; his mother Myra (Bud) Fish, of Bloomington; three daughters Haley Lawton of Indianapolis, Janna Arthur of Bloomington, Chelsea (Jeremy) Terrell of Avoca; one son Tyler Younger of Greenwood; three grandchildren; DeShawn Jefferson of Pennsylvania, Andrew Lawton of Virginia, Jacob Terrell of Avoca; one brother; Steve (Amber) Arthur of Bloomington; one sister; Jeanne (Steve) Arthur Depenbrock of Arizona and two nieces and two nephews.

Friends may call on Friday November 1, 2013 from 3 pm to 7 pm at Cresthaven Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 7 pm on Friday at the funeral home.

Johanna Brown – Bedford
Johanna Brown, 82, of Bedford, died Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at her residence.
Born March 21, 1931 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Frank and Violet (King) Butterfield. She was a forklift operator for General Motors and a member of the Faith Mission Church. She enjoyed traveling with the Happy Travelers group.
Survivors include two sons, Rudy D. Brown and wife Virginia, of Mitchell, Robert D. Brown and wife Cheryl, of Venice, FL; two brothers, John Butterfield and wife Judy, of St. George, UT, Jack Butterfield and wife Marie, of Bedford; five grandchildren, Joey D. Brown, Crystal Brooke Bissonnette, Sarah Elizabeth Moody, Cody Brown and Caleb Brown; eleven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Bob and Frank Butterfield; one sister, Evelyn Nelson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm on Friday, November 1st in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Stephen Height officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, October 31st at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
