Luis Santos Jr. – Bedford
Luis Santos, Jr., 57, of Bedford passed away on March 14, 2013 at IU Bloomington Hospital.
He was born on August 2, 1955 in Sinton, Texas to Luis & Adlenna (Valeria) Santos, Luis married Debbie Burton on August 1, 2011 at Wilson Park in Bedford and she survives. Luis served in the US Marines, attended the 1st Assembly of God Church in Bedford, he was disabled and previously worked as a truck driver.
Survivors include his wife Debbie Burton Santos of Bedford, children; Tony Santos of Arizona, Catherine and husband Josh Lynch, of California, Raymond Santos, of California, Ruth Lanham of Bedford, Christina , of Bedford, Rebecca and husband Justin Sears, of Bedford, Alicia amd husband Ted Wray, of Buddha, Misti and husband Shawn Brock, of Bedford and Andrea Blake, of Bedford; brother; Jessie Santos and wife Gilda, of California; sisters; Norma and husband Joe Rios, of Colorado, and Sally Mendiz ,of Portage, Indiana; grandchildren; Vernie, Madleyn, Chole, Memphis, Aubry, Kyzer, Kalandra ,Izzy, Madison, Adriana, Jacob, Jackson, Ashley, Isabelle, and Michael.
He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparent.

Cremation was chosen, with a memorial service at a later date. Cresthaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
Robert E. Tarr – Bedford
Robert E. Tarr, 78, of Bedford, passed away at 5:10 am Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the Mitchell Manor Nursing Home.
Born June 30, 1934 in Bedford he was the son of Eddie and Edith “Susie” Tarr. He married Rowena Sue Pritchett and she preceded him in death. He retired from the Herald Times after 20 years as a typesetter. He was a Marine veteran serving during the Korean War.
Survivors include one son: Robert Tarr, of Bedford; four grandchildren: Therese, Robert, Frederick, and Angela; three brothers: Roy, Don, and Bud Tarr.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and one sister, Frances Ray.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm on Wednesday, March 20th at the Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg with Johnny Johnson officiating. Visitation will be from 10 am until 12:30 pm on Wednesday, March 20th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
