Stanley Cobb – Bedford
Stanley Cobb, 77 , of Bedford, passed away on January 3, 2013 at 1:57 p.m. at Garden Villa in Bedford. He was born in Bedford on February 17, 1935 to Henry & Ollie (Childers) Cobb, Stanley married Phyllis Ann Sparks on April 7, 1956 and she preceded him in death on May 28, 2000.
Stanley worked as a Railroad Engineer for over 40 years for CSX and Monon Railway; he was a member of the Oolitic VFW Post #1686
Survivors include: one son, Doug Cobb and his wife Becky, of Bedford; two grandchildren, Cassidy Cobb, of Bedford and Sean Cobb, of Lanesville; one great grandchild, Hunter Cobb, of Bedford; two sisters, Marie Fields, of Florida and Maggie Jones, of Bedford; one brother, Claude E. Cobb, of Waverly.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Phyllis Ann Cobb; son Michael Cobb, five brothers, Arthur, Perry, Leonard, Matt and Ed Cobb.
Cremation was chosen with burial in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.

Chris Edward Bridges – Mitchell
Chris Edward Bridges, 47, of Mitchell, passed away at 4:15 a.m. on Friday, January 4, 2013, at I.U. Health Hospice House.
Born July 1, 1964 in Bedford, he was the son of Charles Ronnie Bridges and Edna (Poll) Bridges. He married Wanda Jo Hill on May 13, 1995, and she survives. He had worked at Elliott Stone Co. for 6 years and then Victor Oolitic Stone Co. for 20 years, retiring in 2011. He was a graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School. He had attended Limestone Baptist Church, Bedford; was an avid league bowler and was a hunter, fisherman and softball player.
Surviving include: his father, Charles Ronnie Bridges, of Bedford; his wife, Wanda Jo Bridges, of Mitchell; three sons, Christopher Matthew Bridges and wife Amy, of Bedford; Andrew Thomas Bridges, of Bedford and Ryan Edward Bridges, of Greenwood; four daughters, Kaci Renae and husband Dakota Burnette, of Oolitic; Sierra Ariel Bridges, Hannah Nowell Bridges and Amanda Renee Bridges, all of Mitchell; four grandchildren, Drake, Elijah, Talon and Jade; three brothers, Charles R. Bridges, Jr., Mitchell, David Ray Bridges and wife Lori, of Texas and Michael Sean Bridges and wife Alice, of Bedford; his sister, Kim Bridges, of Bedford; three special nieces, Stephanie P. Rogers, Kaylee Bridges and Faith Marie Bridges and several other nieces and nephews; and, his mother-in-law Wanda Spinks, of Bedford.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Bridges.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home. Burial will be in Tunnelton Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
