Ellen Davidson – Bedford
Ellen Davidson, 88, of Bedford passed away on Wednesday January 2, 2013 at Mitchell Manor Nursing Home. She was born on December 23, 1924 in Barborsville, Kentucky to Henry and Martha (Helton) Cobb, Ellen married John Davidson on March 23, 1943 and he preceded her in death on October 6, 2007, Ellen was a homemaker and attended the Church of God in Bedford.
Survivors include two sons, William Dallas Davidson, of Bedford and John M. “Marty” Davidson and wife Sherry, of Bedford; one brother, Marvin Cobb, of Owenton, Kentucky; grandchildren, Ginger Ratcliff, Jill Rogers, Shelly Conrad, Bridget Roach and Brandon Davidson; great grandchildren, Neil and Stuart Ratcliff, Tabin Breedlove, Tabre Conrad, Allie Deckard, and John Austin Horner; son-in-law, Fred “Butch” Patton, of Bedford.
Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters; three brothers; one daughter, Flossie Davidson Patton, one daughter-in-law, Karen Davidson.
Funeral Services will be on Saturday January 5, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home in Bedford. Friends may call on Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Roy L. Hedrick – Mitchell
Roy L. Hedrick, 74, of Mitchell, passed away at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 1, 2013, at Waterman Hospital in Tavares, Florida. A memorial service will be announced at a later date by Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
Gene F. Baker – Bedford
Gene F. Baker, 91, of Bedford, passed away at 3:12 a.m. on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital.
Born February 12, 1921 in Washington Co., he was the son of John Ora and Flavia (Flemming) Baker. He married Barbara Jean Webb on May 29, 1954 and she preceded him in death on June 28, 2002. He was a laborer for Robertson Feeds and a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the medical corps. He was a member of Dive Christian Church, Gillen Post #33 American Legion and V.F.W.
Survivors include two sons, William Gene Baker, of Bloomington and Steve Aronson, of Bedford; four daughters, Vicky Lynn Beedie and Linda Kay Breedlove, both of Bedford, Janet Carter, of Heltonville and Sandra Butler, of Orleans; twelve grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers, Basil and Nelson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 4th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Johnny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Dive Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 3rd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

Paula Jean Adcock – Williams
Paula Jean Adcock, 55, of Williams, passed away at 9:26 a.m. on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born June 2, 1957 in Wabash, IN, she was the daughter of Chester Hobbs, Jr. and Janice K. Benson. She married Dennis Adcock and he survives. She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Ridge Church in Needmore and had attended Charity Chapel.
Survivors include her husband, Dennis of Williams; six brothers, Richard Sample, of Logansport, IN, Robert Sample, of Bunker Hill, IN, Rev. John Sample, of Yatesville, GA,
Bobby Grubb, Jr., of Bedford, Toney P. Grubb of Austin, TX and Chester Hobbs III, of Kokomo; four sisters, Tamala Bush, of Mitchell, Canda Hillenburg, of Bedford, Chris Holloway and Carmen Viel, of Logansport; several nieces and nephews; step-father, Robert Grubb, Sr.; step-mother, Connie Grubb.
She was preceded in death by her birth parents; adopted parents; a step-mother; a son, Kenny Hillenburg Adcock; a brother, Ronald Benson; two sisters, Connie Benson and Kimberly Grubb; two nephews; one niece and a great niece and nephew.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:30 pm on Friday, January 4th at Dive Cemetery with Sister Becky Ryan and Rev. Garris Hillenburg officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Friday, January 4th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
