Melissa Ann Pemberton, 46, of Mitchell, passed away at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at her home. Born June 8, 1966, in Bedford, she was the daughter of William Samuel Edmonson Sr. and Connie Sue (Helton) Edmonson. She was a homemaker.Melissa Ann Pemberton – Mitchell

Survivors include her children, Joshua Vandee Edmonson, of Mitchell, Trista Sue Marie Cook, of Campbellsburg, father, William Samuel Edmonson, Sr., of Mitchell; siblings, Elizabeth Ilene Knight, of Mitchell; William Edmonson, Jr., of Mitchell, James Richason, of Louisville, Kentucky, Janelle Brooks, of Bloomington; 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother and son, Timothy Lynn Pemberton, Jr.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, December 17 at Haverly Chapel. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until the service on Monday at the funeral home.
