Mildred L. Hobson – Mitchell
Mildred L. Hobson, 89, of Mitchell, passed away at 12:02 a.m. Friday, July 20 2012 at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital.
Born July 26, 1922 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Elmer an Anna (Fry) Fish. She married Warren T. Hobson and he survives. She was a secretary for Warren T. Hobson & Associates Inc. for 15 years. She was a member of the Third Christian Church in Indianapolis.
Survivors include her husband, Warren, of Mitchell; four sons, Warren T. Hobson II, of Mooresville, John A. Hobson and wife Linda, of Burleson, Texas, Gary J. Hobson and wife Kathy, of Carlsbad, California and William K. Hobson and wife Matina, of Mitchell; four grandchildren, Kris Hobson, of Michigan, Kim Hobson, of Virginia, Tara Roach, and husband Michael, of Bedford, Amber Rayhill, of Mitchell; four great grandchildren, one brother, James Fish, of Bedford.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Catherine Heironimus and one brother, Harry Inman.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 24th in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter mortuary with Pastor Allen Burris officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, July 23rd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

David Earl Thoroman – Bedford
David Earl Thoroman, 76, of Bedford, passed away at 3 a.m. Friday, July 20, 2012 at his residence.
Born July 22, 1935 in Columbia Falls, Montana, he was the son of Maxwell Thoroman and La Rookie (Prill) Thoroman.
He married Sharon Kay Moore on July 6, 1978; she preceded him in death on April 15, 2007. He had worked in fuel sensor assembly at Ford/Visteon in Bedford and had also attended Bethel Country Church, Oolitic and Body of Christ in Bedford. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 14 F&AM in Bedford and also has served in the Indiana National Guard.
Survivors include one daughter, Heather Thompson, of Bedford; two sisters, Phyllis and husband Gene Newton, of Indianapolis; D.J. Hillenburg, of Denver, CO., and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home with Sister Becky Ryan, Pastor Beth Ann Cook and Pastor John Turpin officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Masonic Rites will be held at 7 p.m. by members of Masonic Lodge 14 F&AM.

Violet “Sam” Mary Pedersen – Bedford
Violet “Sam” Mary Pedersen, 78, of Bedford, passed away at 10:13 a.m. Thursday, July 19, 2012, at her home.
Born May 27, 1934, in Alberta, Canada, she was the daughter of George Goulet and Emilia Savoyard.

Cremation was chosen and there will be no visitation.
