The following obituaries were received for Thursday –


Leslie Howard McMahan – Bedford
Leslie Howard McMahan, 74, of Bedford, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at his home.
Born September 12, 1937 in Bedford, he was the son of Leslie Parker McMahan and Geneva (Pavey) McMahan. He attended Bedford schools. He was a limestone laborer at Indiana Limestone. He was a former league bowler.
Survivors include a sister, Mary and husband Charlie Thornton, of Greenwood; nephew Bill Hardwick and wife Renee, of Martinsville; niece Tammy Carrier, of Greenwood; and special friend Carlene White, of Bedford.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services and burial will be Friday, May 25, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Ikerd Cemetery in Bedford. There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements are entrusted to Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home.

Robert Kenneth Hall – Bedford

Robert Kenneth Hall, 84, of Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 8:20 a.m. at IU Health Bedford.
Born in Bedford, he was the son of Louis Joseph and Trula E. (Whitehead) Hall. He married Barbara Jean Kern on September 3, 1948 and she survives. He was a 1945 graduate of Bedford High School, a US Navy veteran of World War II and served in the Indiana National Guard and the Indiana Guard Reserve. He worked at the Times-Mail for almost 44 years and retired from the advertising department in 1989. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Bedford, a 60-year member of Bedford Masonic Lodge 14, Murat Shrine Temple; a member and past president of La-Or-Ma Shrine Club; past president on the Bedford Jaycees; a 66-year member of American Legion Gillen Post 33; and a past member of the Bedford Plan Commission.
Survivors include his wife Barbara; his children, Robert K Hall II and wife Mary Jane, Kathy J. Jones and husband Bill and Dr. Daniel L. Hall and wife Kim; grandchildren, Shannon and husband Dr. Joey Spires, Lauren and husband Brian Simpson, Dr. Baron Hall and wife Erica, Robert K. Hall III, John Hall, Dr. Tyson Medlock and wife Tia, Tanner Medlock, Dr. Tate Medlock, Eric Jones, Katie Hall, Jonathon Jones, Aaron Jones, Tia Jones, Trey Jones and T.J. Jones; ten great grandchildren; one sister, Betty Key; one brother, Ronald J. Hall and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Louis Hall and three sisters, Marie Kirkman, Alma Sweet and Buela May Trinkle and one grandson, Jamie Jones.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 25, 2012 at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Dailey and Brother Bud Smith officiating. Burial will be in Fayetteville Community Cemetery. Military rites will be accorded at the grave by members of American Legion Gillen Post 33. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home Masonic Rites will be at 6 p.m.
Pall Bearers will be Tyson Medlock, Shannon Spires, Tanner Medlock, Nathan Hall, Chip Hall, Lauren Simpson, Tate Medlock, Baron Hall and John Hall.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the First Christian Church, Bedford Masonic Lodge 14, F & AM, or American Legion Gillen Post 33.
