Rosa (Ratkovich) Taylor – Bedford
Rosa (Ratkovich) Taylor, 89, of Bedford, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2012 at her home.
Born April 16, 1923 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Matthew and Mary (Maros) Ratkovich. She retired from M. Fine & Sons in 1993. She was a member of the First Christian Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include two daughters, Beverly Wray and husband Lary and Donna Myers, all of Bedford; one sister, Mildred Ratkovich, of Bedford; one brother, Daniel Ratkovich and wife Mary, of Bedford; four grandchildren, Jennifer Grover and husband, Laron, of Kalamazoo, MI., Justin Spires and wife Cassie, Wendy Ira and husband David and Cory Neeley, all of Bedford; eight great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, Amanda Skidmore, Anna Spaulding, Catherine Poole and Josephine Strunk and one brother, John Ratkovich.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 25th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Bob Dailey officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of service on Friday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
