The following obituaries were received for Wednesday –


James C. Prince Jr. – Mitchell
James C. Prince, Jr., 85, of Mitchell, passed away at 3:52 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at IU Health Bedford Hospital.
Born October 23, 1926, in Hot Springs County, Arkansas, he was the son of James C. and Mildred (Fickle) Prince, Sr. He married Dorothy Louise Loy November 30, 1946.
He was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II, and a member of the Mitchell Living Water Church of God. James retired from General Motors in 1985.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Prince, of Mitchell; children, Jimmie and wife Diana Prince, of Mitchell, Ronnie and wife Dawnell Prince, of Bedford, Mary and husband Tony Stockton, of Bedford, James Travis and wife Debbie Prince, of Huron; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Billy Prince, of Caney, Arkansas; sister, Patty Ivy, of Bismarck, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, March 9, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Rev. Van Glidewell and Rev. Ray Jones officiating. Burial will be in Knott Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until the service on Friday at the funeral home.
Casketbearers: Eric Stockton, Brian Stockton, Robert Prince, Kevin Prince, Scott Prince, Andrew Prince, Jason Covey, and Gregg Taylor.

Richard D. Morales Sr. – Bedford

Richard D. Morales Sr, 54, of Bedford, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2012 at 6:43 p.m. at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital.
Born April 13, 1957 in San Fernando, California, he was the son of Jose Ruiz Morales and Margie (Gonzales) Morales. He married Irma Villa in October 1978 and she survives in Mission Hills, California. He was employed at GM Powertrain in Bedford as a hot metal fork lift driver, retiring in 2006.
He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church; UAW Local 440 and an avid Oakland Raiders fan and he loved his 1963 Chevy Impala and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his mother, Margie Morales, of Sylmar, CA.; four sons, Richard Morales Jr., Michael and wife Jennifer Morales, Joseph and wife Jana Morales, all of Bedford and Steven and wife Jessica Morales, of San Fernando, CA.; one daughter, Vanessa and husband Timothy Childers, of Bedford; 16 grandchildren: Gabriel Morales, Graven Morales, Isabel Morales, Michael Morales, Brydan Morales, Serina Morales, Mia Childers, Landon Childers, Lilyana Childers, Elias Morales, Steven Morales Jr.; one brother, Manuel Morales, of Bedford; sister Dolores Magana, of Sylmar, CA.
He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Ruben Morales and niece, Cynthia Marie Morales.
Funeral services will be on Friday, March 9, 2012 at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Bedford, with Father Rick Eldred officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, with Rosary prayed at 7:30 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lawrence County Patient Services for whom the family is very thankful.
