Helen Louise Todd – Bedford
Helen Louise Todd, 86, of Bedford, passed away at 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at the I.U. Health Bedford Hospital.
Born January 22, 1926 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Harra and Sylvia (Ollis) Lee. She married Harry Todd on June 11, 1944 and he preceded her in death on September 10, 1972. She retired from the Edgewood Clinic in Bedford. She was baptized at Tunnelton United Methodist Church and attended Hillcrest Christian Church.
Survivors include one daughter Treva Moore and husband J.D. of Bedford; two sons, Toby Todd, of Heltonville, and Tony Todd and his wife Sherry of Heltonville, six grandchildren, Troy Todd and his wife Jody, of Martinsville, Trent Todd and wife Erin of Heltonville, Patrick Todd and wife Kristy of Camby, Lacey Russell and husband Tony of Heltonville, Casey Todd and his wife Jessica of Heltonville, Tyler Moore of Bedford; 13 great grandchildren, Grant and Graycen Todd, Truman, Annabelle and Laney Todd, Michael, Brittany and Savannah Russell, Drew Bailey, Aralynn and Bryleigh Todd, Jenna and Codey Todd; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son Terry Todd, daughter-in-law Debbie Todd, one sister, Clorine Goen.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 22nd in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Mundell Christian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21st at Day & Carter Mortuary.

Bernice Maxine Jackson – Bedford
Bernice Maxine Jackson, 81, of Bedford, passed away at 5 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2012 at IUPUI Simon Cancer Center in Indianapolis.
Born April 12, 1930 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Chesley and Daisy (Prather) Reynolds. She married Shirley William “Bill” Jackson on August 9, 1953, in Bedford and he preceded her in death on February 15, 1996.
She retired from Indiana Limestone Compay. She was a graduate of Shawswick High School and a member of the Nazarene Church.
Survivors include two brothers, Thomas E. “Doc” and his wife Norma Reynolds, of Bedford and Kenneth and his wife Barbara Reynolds, of Sellersburg and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Robert Reynolds, two sisters, Alice Raines and Jean Nickless.
A graveside service will be held today, February 20, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Beech Grove Cemetery, with Rev. Kenneth Bushy officiating. Friends may call today from 9 a.m. until the service at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home.

Mildred L. Donica – Bedford

Mildred L. Donica, 80, of Bedford, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 7:30 a.m. at Stonebridge Health Campus.
Born December 18, 1931, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Vidella (Covey) Kinser. She married Glen G. Donica on March 18, 1949 in Lawrence County and he preceded her in death on May 11, 2004. She attended school in Heltonville and attended the Valley Mission Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include two daughters, Glenda and husband Steve Hill, of Bedford and Pam and husband Bill Maddox, of Bedford; one son Steve Donica, of Bedford; 4 grandchildren, Billy Maddox and wife Tara, Shelby Maddox, Heather Fleenor and Jennifer Armstrong; 6 great grandchildren; brother Larry and wife Phyllis Kinser, of Bedford; niece, Tonya Day, of Bedford; nephew Tony and wife Mandy Kinser, of Bedford.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, with Pastor Duane Boady and Pastor Max Abel officiating. Burial will be in Hanson Cemetery in Monroe County. Friends may call today, February 20, 2012 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home.
