Ruby Ashcraft
Ruby Ashcraft, 92, of Seymour, formerly of Bedford, died at 8:40am on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at the Covered Bridge Health Campus in Seymour.
Born November 3, 1917 in Greene Co., she was the daughter of Clyde and Berta (Achors) Bennett. She married Ray Ashcraft on July 2, 1934 and he died January 16, 2005. She retired from Sarkes-Tarzian Inc. in Bloomington and attended the First Baptist Church in Seymour.
Survivors include a daughter, Sue; seven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Jean and Donna. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, a daughter and a grandson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00am on Saturday, April 3rd in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Homer Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 9:00am until the hour of service on Saturday, April 3rd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
Zoey Brooklyn Renee Irwin
Zoey Brooklyn Renee Irwin, of Mitchell, infant daughter of Jennifer Renee Irwin and Eric Strange, passed away at 6:28am Monday, March 29, 2010 at her residence.
She was born February 11, 2010 in Bedford.
Survivors include parents Jennifer and Eric, half brothers Eric and Hunter, half sister Mya, grandparents, great grandparents, aunts and a uncle.
Graveside service will be at 2:00pm, Thursday, April 1, at Mitchell Cemetery with Rev. Curtis Kern officiating.
Don W. Caudell
Don W. Caudell, 82, of Mitchell, passed away at 2:12pm Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at Mitchell Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Chastain Funeral Home.
